Functie

The ADM is responsible for building the Belgian market and sell the solution for the customer. This can be achieved through the co-ordination of numerous sales activities, identification of new opportunities, mentoring of staff and supporting the delivery of excellent CS through close co-operation with the CS department.

Accountability : pro-actively manage your workload to achieve the highest levels of sales/service and customer satisfaction. To build and maintain a high standard of rapport with potential & existing customers through personal visit. To manage key sales, contract & account retention relationships. To actively seek new business. Ensure sales procedures are relevant, effective and correctly managed. Maintenance of own territory records. Produce accurate call reports, listing all action points within 48 hours of contact. Represent and speak on behalf of EBSCO at exhibitions/conferences etc. Prepare written proposals and quotes for customers. Work with other EBSCO staff as a member of a team.

Prospect/Customer Contact : Anticipating and recognising prospect/customer needs and act as appropriate. Through personal visit & telesales achieve sales targets by selling prospects & customer appropriate products and services. Maintain an awareness and understanding of market trends and issues, communicate such to colleagues. Continually seeking to improve level/quality of service and profitability. Respond effectively to new leads and enquires. Disseminate information to relevant colleagues. Manage contractual relationships.

Internal Communications : working as a senior manager within the office, provide support, mentoring and backup to other team members. Keeping colleagues appraised of any specific sales issues as appropriate. Liaising with other departments within and outside the Aalsmeer office of EBSCO to develop and support the delivery of excellent CS. Responding to and handling requests for assistance from colleagues in other departments of EBSCO offices. Assisting with other project work as required.

Kandidaat

  • This position requires excellent selling, negotiation, presentational, social and communication skills, and demands a high level of computer literacy.
  • Employee must have a minimum of 3 /5 years sales experience and is now at the next stage off his/her career to take this to a higher level.
  • Employee must be a good English speaker with knowledge or willing to gain this knowledge on e-products (IT, content, transactions etc.)
  • This position requires a pro-active and forward-looking attitude, combined with good management and mentoring skills.
  • A good working knowledge of the sales environment is required. In addition to this, the ability to multitask, process manage and prioritise a demanding workload is essential.
  • Full knowledge of EBSCO systems and products are required, and a sound knowledge of EBSCO’s market.
  • Willingness to work flexibly and travel regularly with overnight stays
  • All necessary training will be given to enable the individual to attain a working standard that meets the perimeters of EBSCO’s Service Standards. Training will be in an ongoing manner, to enable the individual to meet the job criterion and keep abreast with changes and developments.
