It comprehends the placement of a YER employee at Philips in the context of a specific project.

As a Demand planner, you will be responsible for demand planning & forecasting for IGT Devices International.

Your responsibilities are:

  • Deliver input and aligns with Demand Planner on inventory PAR levels
  • Make sure the Available to Promises (ATP) levels are at PAR, conform standard SOP
  • Own the material life cycle management according standard SOP, securing in time availability and prevention of obsolescence - Monitor item changes and secure planning in SAP
  • Identify supply risks and issues, drive mitigation actions and escalation
  • Financials:
    - Control the cost of operations (TCO, cash) through inventory analysis
  • Continuous Improvements:
    - Identify and delivers upon continuous improvement cycles as per Philips Operational Excellence Program Methodology
  • Collaboration:
    - Pro-actively monitoring movement of goods flow, and ensure flawless interaction and collaboration towards internal organization
  • Supplier Management:
    - Monitor, report and ensure the supplier and forwarder performance
    - Ensure accurate SCM master data setup and maintenance

As Demand Planner, you will work with the Supply Chain Manager, IGT Devices International.

Functie eisen

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Logistics Fundamentals with Order Fulfilment and Shipment
    - Supply Chain Risk and material planning
    - Supplier Relationship Management
    - Knows calculation and planning methods. Knows the technical aspects of the goods to be purchased; understands the technical requirements
    - Expedite and shortage mitigation with suppliers. Knows how to run improvement actions. Knowledge on inventory management including safety stock management in relation to service levels
    - Inventory Management Planning and Performance Management
    - 5 years related experience | IATA & ADR trained
    - Knows the procedures and systems for placing order
  • Dedicated personality who loves to work within a hectic & dynamic environment
  • Positive attitude to issues and stress resistant
  • Ability to deal with demanding stakeholders and shown ability to lead and inspire an organization
  • Strong communicator with knowledge of proper English usage any additional languages is a plus
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the Medical Device industry
  • Knowledge of computer and automation applications (i.e.: Microsoft Office, SAP, Genesys platform, Salesforce)
  • Certified LEAN Advanced
